Most rides happen with nobody watching. Gallopa's AI coach reviews a video of your riding and tells you what an instructor would: what is working, what to fix, and exactly when in the video it happened.
How it works
- Film your riding. A friend at the arena fence, a phone propped on a jump wing, or a clip from your last clinic. Normal phone video is all it needs.
- Pick the video in the Coach tab. Add an optional focus note like "check my canter transitions" or "am I leaning forward over fences?" for a tailored review.
- Get your analysis. A few minutes later: an overall score, six technique scores, timestamped corrections, and the things you are already doing well.
Six dimensions of your riding

Feedback you can replay
Every correction is timestamped. Tap "2:14 - your hands lift in the upward transition" and the video jumps to 2:14 and replays that moment, so you can see exactly what the coach saw. It is the closest thing to standing at the arena fence with your instructor and a video screen.
Your videos stay yours
The app asks for your explicit consent before the first video is ever uploaded. Videos are used only to generate your analysis and are then deleted from the server; the original never leaves your camera roll. Details in the privacy policy.

How do I get AI feedback on my horse riding?
Have someone film you riding, or set your phone on a fence rail. In Gallopa's Coach tab, pick the video from your camera roll and start the analysis. A few minutes later you get an overall score, six technique scores and a list of timestamped corrections and strengths.
What does the AI coach score?
Six dimensions of your riding: seat and position, hands and contact, leg and aids, rhythm and tempo, transitions, and overall harmony with the horse. Each is scored out of 7 with specific observations from your video.
Is the AI coach a replacement for a riding instructor?
No, and it is not meant to be. It is the next best thing between lessons: an objective eye on demand. Riders use it to check progress on homework from their instructor, review schooling sessions nobody watched, and catch habits early.
What happens to my riding videos?
Your video is uploaded securely only when you start an analysis, used solely to generate your feedback, and then deleted from the server. The app asks for your explicit consent before the first upload. The original video stays on your device.
Is the AI riding coach free?
Gallopa is free to download and ride tracking is free forever. AI coaching analyses are part of Gallopa Pro, an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited video analyses.
